In his will, our founder, Dr Per Håkansson, expressed
the wish that the surplus of the foundation´s activities
should be divided up among people dedicated to the
study of physiology and chemistry. That´s why every
year, research grants are given to people who excel in
physiology, medicine, chemistry, and food chemistry.

We are very proud to be able to support the research
of the future. Thanks to all the people buying our
products, our contribution to university research has
risen in just a few years from 100, 000 to 1 500,000
Swedish crowns.

 THE DR PER´S GOLD PRIZE
Three of those who receive research grants are
nominated for the Dr Per´s Gold Prize. The winner of
this prize gets totally 600,000 Swedish crowns. The
lucky winner is announced on ”Gold Night”. This is
an annual gala event in Malmö, attended by members
of Skåne´s business community, at which awards are
given to people who have excelled in their field.
